About Us Title

Founded in 1963, the Aireko Companies is a third-generation executive-owned group of multi-disciplinary construction and building services companies that provides turnkey solutions for clients throughout Florida & US Southeast, Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands.

Aireko Energy Group (AEG) is an Aireko Company specialized Electrical Contracting, as well as in Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) of distributed energy resources and energy efficiency solutions, and Operation & Maintenance Services to customers with mission-critical projects, tight schedules, and rigorous safety and quality compliance requirements.

AEG’s staff of over eighty (80) managers and supervisors, and three hundred (300) field technicians - have for more than thirty (30) years executing successfully in the utility, health, life science, education, institutional, and industrial manufacturing sectors, among others.

Our mission is to exceed customer’s expectations, whether it is a $3,000 emergency service or a $30 million marquee project, in every case, AEG team will become your partner of choice regardless of the challenge.

A Safe Workplace and Employees’ Health is one of the values that has driven our company to success. AEG’s leadership recognizes the responsibility to provide a clean, safe, and healthy workplace free of hazardous conditions and behaviors, in compliance with federal, and state safety regulations. AEG reinforces its Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) policies beyond OSHA government standards by implementing project specifics risk assessment plans, controls, and administrative policies and procedures.

A well below industry average injury and incident record is a testament of our solid, proactive, and comprehensive safety program, which we proudly provide and implement with integrity and the support of our workforce, clients, and project stakeholders. Our team is committed to continually evaluate, communicate, train, and reward our field leader behavior as part of our effort to engage the whole Aireko community in keeping our projects safe.

AEG is an Association of Builders and Contractors (ABC)member and a recipient of the Safety Training Evaluation Process (STEP) award for multiple years. STEP has evolved into a world-class safety management system that dramatically improves safety performance among participants regardless of company size or type of work. Participating ABC member firms measure their safety processes and policies on 25 key components through a detailed questionnaire with the goal of implementing or enhancing safety programs that reduce jobsite incidents.

This longstanding Aireko cultural and ethical heritage, is embodied in Aireko Foundation’s mission since it emerged in the year 2000, as well as in its “for profit” affiliates in the Aireko Companies operating from Puerto Rico and US Virgin Islands in the Caribbean, from Florida in the US Southeast, and from Pennsylvania in US Mid-Atlantic.

AEG is a proud sponsor of ACT. As per ACT Program, “the goal is to deliver students to graduation with a bright future in construction careers that began in high school. Beginning in their sophomore year and continuing through their senior year, these students learn the basic trade skills and safety practices needed to work on-site. Students are placed with a participating employer who sponsors them in the program. ACT works closely with schools in Lake, Orange, Osceola, Polk, Seminole, and Sumter high schools to utilize curricula developed by industry professionals.”

AEG is an EDC Investor since 2022. The EDC is “the official economic development organization for Brevard County, Florida. The Economic Development Commission is committed to helping businesses locate and expand on Florida’s Space Coast. Leadership on Educational Advisory Boards

Faculty and Research & Development advisory boards advise on aspects about the effectiveness, quality, and relevance of academic and educational program offerings and research. AEG is currently an active advisory board member of Osceola Technical College and the Florida Solar Energy Center.
